Lesbians tend to be in relationships in the 'burbs'. Many of them live in trailerpark communities. It's about the "ownership" thing. More out in the boondocks type of dwellings and usually partnered. Lesbians are "nesters" by nature.
Women in general are 'nesters' by nature. Men tend to tinker around a bit more. Women do not play in the bushes, no pun intended, like men play in Griffith Park. The girl bar events are not as prevalent as mens events.
think there is one "every day of the week" womens bar in WeHo. Although there are womens events 'from time to time' when they 'plan' to go to a venue. i.e. Dinah Shore weekend in Palm Springs is a GIANT womens event. LB [Lesbian News] is read more by them than both the Frontiers and the others combined! and they do not have pages and pages of hooker ads! Excuse me, "massage therapist".
There is no single saturated section or area. LA by its nature is spread across several areas and thus so are its lesbians. You do tend to have more among such places as West Hollywood, Silverlake, and not exactly LA but also Long Beach, Palm Springs, San Diego. Pretty much where the boys tend to be too it's just that alot of us don't hardly ever go out.
